About Me:

Howdy! I’m Dylan Aske, an established 3D VFX Artist, Illustrator, and Teacher based in British Columbia. I earned my VFX Diploma from Capilano University before gaining years of experience in Visual Effects, 3D Simulation, and pipeline Development. I bring ideas to life through dynamic visuals.

Visual Effects Artist - Atomic Cartoons

Bringing high quality Visual Effects to the amazing productions of Atomic Cartoons. Working with the talented FX team, using our Houdini expertise and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production environment.

VFX Teacher - Emily Carr University of Art and Design (Present)

Helping the next generation of artists figure out how Houdini fits into the pipeline. We explore proceduralism, and do simulations to create world-class student films.

Visual Effects Artist- Fish Flight Entertainment

Developed FX and streamlined workflows along side the team at Fish Flight Entertainment. As an FX artist I was able to do my own research, write documentation, incorporate cutting-edge technology, composite my own shots, and get my hands dirty trying new things.
